“Despite the figurative and object-oriented character of my art, the object, subject,
and theme don’t particularly interest me. I think only of the splashes of color, the lines,
the space, the dynamic balance of the composition. It seems to me that all artists think
about this, no matter what their art is. In that sense, I’m not original.”

Kosta Gusalov. Artist, graphic designer. Born in 1965. In the 1980s, attended Moscow State University of Printing Arts, studying drawing and painting at the Department of Graphic Arts. From 1987, KG worked in Moscow as a graphic designer, artistic editor, and director at several major Russian publishing houses. Since 2010, he has been devoting his time exclusively to painting and drawing, participating in various artistic exhibitions in Moscow.
